In 1996, the largest pearl ever discovered, the 75 pound Pearl of Puerto, was discovered in the Palawan Sea off the coast of the Philippines.
Since 2011, another pearl has been growing in the Philippines – AND this pearl is the game of Rugby League.
President of the Philippines Rugby League, Reynaldo Nery, joins us to discuss the growth of Rugby League in the Philippines.
